The body of a woman found yesterday in Brighton is at the Chief Coroner's office in Toronto for a post mortem.
Northumberland OPP say the death is being treated as suspicious at this time.
Police were called to the home by a neighbour yesterday just before 1:00 where they found the body.
The investigation is on-going by the OPP Criminal Investigation branch..

A Bell Boulevard business might want to watch who they hire next time.
Bellevill Police charged a 36 year old city man yesterday following the report of an internal theft by an employee of the buisness.
He's been charged with 11 counts each of Fraud Under Five Thousand Dollars...Forgery... and Uttering Forged Documents.
The accused has been released on an Appearance Notice... and will appear in court in January 2010...

A couple of break-ins in Belleville's north end has netted crooks a list of high end items.
Belleville Police say somebody got into a shed on University Street over the weekend and made off with four-thousand dollars in tools.
Meanwhile burglars entered a home on North Park Street in the early morning hours yesterday.
They stole a microwave oven... a flat screen TV....DVD's, a women's purse...and medication.

One unlucky Belleville citizen may have to buy a map.
Wednesday afternoon a suspect forced his way into a parked vehicle in a Bell Blvd buisness parking lot.
The suspect made off with a Tom Tom GPS and a 15 inch Dell Laptop.
Police are further investigating the case.
FATAL DRIVER ID-401-Trenton
UPDATE
The driver of the Honda who was killed on the 401 near Wooler Road has been identified.
34 year-old Vahid AHMADY-JOUPARY of Toronto was ejected from his car when it rolled several times.
Police say Ahmady-Joupary was not wearing his seat belt.
He was thrown approximately 40 feet from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Expect to pay more for services provided by the city of Quinte West.... And you can blame the new HST.
The Quinte West Corporate and Finance committee approved a new rate schedule last night for everthing from to arena rentals to golf course greens fees .
Commitee Chair, Councillor Craig Desjardins says the HST is a good idea in theory...But the government is way off on the timing of it...

Some of the price increases on July 1st.... Arena rentals up almost 10 bucks an hour while golf memberships will jump 30 dollars for adults.
The only good news...for the city at least.... It will get back almost 6.3 percent of the HST it will pay in rebates from the province compared to the four per cent it currently gets.

The empty lot where the former Sidney Township hall once stood on Wallbridge Road could become a historic site
The Quinte West Financial Committe last night decided to send the request for five -thousand dollars to fix up the site to budget meetings next year.
It's now just a weed and garbage filled lot.
Committee Chair, Councillor Craig Desjardins, thinks fixing up the site is the right thing to do..

The site housed the former municipality's municipal government for 150 years.
Before it became part of Quinte West, Sidney Township was the oldest municipality in Ontario, founded in 1808.

A packed Wednesday night for the NHL with 14 games hitting the ice.
The Leafs got their 5th win of the season against the Tampa Lightning with a LATE second period goal by Matt Stajan to put the leafs up 4-3.
Ottawa got schoarched by the red hot devils 3-1.
Sidney Crosby and the penguins defeated the Montreal Candiens 3-1.
Calgary beat the Pheonix Coyotes 2-1.
NFL
It's Thanksgiving south of the border, and that means a three-course menu from N-F-L.
Detroit opens with its traditional home game against Green Bay.
Oakland visits Dallas, as the Cowboys try to get their offence unstuck after scoring a combined 14 points the past two weeks.
Tonight, the Denver Broncos look to end their four-game slide as they host the New York Giants.
